A cedar planted in 1799, at the centre of a controversy around a real estate project. The most famous symbol of the city, linked to Joséphine, the Romanovs and Coco Chanel. It is also part of an anti-Nazi resistance WW2 love story between Aimée de Heeren and Joe Kennedy Jr, who died for the liberation of Europe.
Rodin's own house and studio from 1895 to 1917, his plaster gallery, and his grave in the garden under a bronze cast of The Thinker.

The world's first airship hangar, built in 1879 from the Galerie des Machines of the 1878 World's Fair. Reopened in 2023 after forty years of silence.

He arrived at the end of 1893, bought the Villa des Brillants in 1895, and stayed on this hillside until his death in 1917. Meudon is where The Gates of Hell was assembled, where the plasters were stored, and where he is buried — under a bronze cast of The Thinker, beside Rose Beuret.
