- Meudon Val Fleury station
Pick up the town's free forest map before you go, or download it from meudon.fr. - 2 km
- Étang de Chalais
The largest of the ponds, four hectares, and the closest to the Hangar Y. - 5 km
- Étang de Trivaux
La Cabane guinguette sits on the bank — a reasonable place to stop. - 8 km
- Étang de Villebon
Deeper into the woods, and much quieter. - 11 km
- The Grande Perspective
Le Nôtre's axis, still readable through the trees, leading back up towards the terrace. - 13 km
- Back to the station
Or continue up to the Observatory terrace for the view before heading home.
